Manuscript Submission

International Journal of Innovative Research (IJIR) is now accepting the submissions ofquality manuscripts electronically. All complete manuscripts according to the style and format of the journal must be submitted through Online Submission System or as MS Word (.doc) file format along with cover letter separately through the e-mail to the editor-in-chief at editor@irsbd.org ; atikentom@pstu.ac.bd . Authors are advised to follow the Author Guidelines in preparing the manuscript before submission.

Submission Checklist

Are you ready to submit your article? If yes, then the following list will be useful during the final checking of manuscript prior to sending it to the editor-in-chief.

  • Cover letter with all authors name is provided.
  • Manuscript is adhering to author guidelines.
  • All author affiliations have been provided.
  • One author has been designated as corresponding author with contact details.
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word (.doc) file format.
  • The text is double-spaced; single column format; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures (preferably 300dpi as jpeg file), and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • Manuscript has been 'spell-checked' and 'grammar-checked'.

  • All references mentioned in the reference list are cited in the text, and vice versa.

  • Permission has been obtained for use of copyrighted material from other sources (including the Internet).

Peer Review Policy

Manuscripts submitted to the International Journal of Innovative Research (IJIR) are approved by the Editor-in-chief followed by formal peer review process conducted in collaboration with editorial board members and independent referees.

Peer Review Process 

Submissions to the International Journal of Innovative Research (IJIR) pass through a double-blind peer-review process. The criteria for publication in the International Journal of Innovative Research (IJIR) are as follows: 

  • The study presents the results of primary scholarly research those have unique merits.
  • Results reported have not been published elsewhere.
  • The research meets all applicable standards of ethics and research integrity.
  • Experiments, statistics, and other analyses are performed to a high technical standard and are described in sufficient detail.
  • Conclusions are written appropriately supported by the data.
  • The article is presented in an intelligible manner and is written in Standard English.
  • Once the manuscripts have passed quality control, they are assigned to a member of the Editorial Board (or an expert who is not a member of the Board) for conducting the peer-review process and for making a decision to accept, invite revision of (major/minor), or reject the article.

Publication Fee

If the manuscript is accepted for publication, corresponding author will be asked to pay 2000 BDT (in country) / 50 USD (overseas) as publication fee in order to defray the operating costs. Waiver policy is not applicable. The payment method will be notified by the managing editor after the acceptance of the paper. Each author will be given a free e-reprint (PDF) for personal use (printing a copy for own use or exchange with other researchers, but not for deposition in a library/website/ftp-site for public access). Publication fees are entirely non-refundable.

Open access policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Publication Ethics

Authors are expected to be aware of, and comply with, best practice in publication ethics specifically with regard to authorship (for example avoidance of ghost or guest authorship), dual submission, plagiarism, manipulation of figures, competing interests and compliance with policies on research ethics. 

Reviewers and Editors are required to treat manuscripts fairly and in confidence.

Copyrights for articles published in IJIR are retained by the authors, with first publication rights granted to the journal. The journal/publisher is not responsible for subsequent uses of the work. It is the author's responsibility to bring an infringement action if so desired by the author.

Confidentiality and Privacy Statement

Editors and reviewers are required to treat all submitted manuscripts in strict confidence. The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
